​Why Empuptry?

Empuptry (pronounced “em-PUP-tree”) workshops uniquely blend ‘emotion’ and ‘puppetry’ to create interactive, hands-on activities where kids build and bring puppets to life. These workshops empower children to express themselves, build confidence, and explore creativity. This one-of-a-kind initiative is a collaboration between 1202Puppets and 1202Kids Foundation, combining expertise and passion to inspire communities. Our focus is to help children ages 9-14 grow emotionally and socially through creative puppetry and storytelling. By engaging in Empuptry, kids gain valuable tools for emotional wellness and empathy, all within a safe, supportive environment that nurtures growth through creativity and play.
